What's this?

Over the course of my life I've dabbled in a variety of hobbies and activities, but the big three that have always been present are: games, music, and movies. I've always liked talking about these things and recommending them to my friends. I've given it some thought, and now I'm going to talk about about them with you!

I don't know how often I'll be posting to this blog, but as a disciplinary exercise I'm aiming for at least once every week, at the minimum.

Focus will be on things that I find interesting in general, maybe something new that I've experienced and enjoyed, perhaps something that I'm looking forward to, or something old that I just want to share my enthusiasm for.

Ikigai (生きがい)

Ikigai (生き甲斐, lit. 'a reason for being') is a Japanese concept referring to something that gives a person a sense of purpose, a reason for living.
